Isn't it obvious they're only compensating for some gnawing inadequacy in their lives? Others may call their behavior rude or obnoxious when it's really only a pitiful cry for attention.Several other readers of The Union wrote to the editors in criticism of these remarks, including Betty Johnson and Jennifer Hulbert.
