A rumor has it that Harley-Davidson may be thinking of offering a new bike for 2008, the "V-Rod Street Glide"...

This bike pictured above was brought to the San Diego Motorcycle & Hot Rod show last weekend courtesy of San Diego Harley-Davidson.
It's the Street Rod, but fitted with the Batwing fairing, touring hardbags, touring fenders, and floorboards.
In fact, San Diego Harley-Davidson has this motorcycle featured on its website among it's customized offerings. My understanding is that the "V-Rod Street Glide" is a creation of San Diego Harley-Davidson, but that the Motor Company may be looking at making this a factory production.
